20 Days of Prayer Day 4 "Do Not Be Anxious About Anything"

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” (Philippians 4:6-8).

O Heavenly Father, how we rejoice in Your goodness to us!  Thank you that You are sovereign, and that You bring us through all things.  We pray for great peace in our hearts during this trial - for our church, our community, our state, our nation, and even the world.

Father, help us to be focused on that which is good, right and pure during this time, that our hearts may be aligned with Yours. We also pray for all the decision makers in our country, as well as all those responsible for the supply lines, that all your people's needs may be taken care of during this time.

Finally, we pray for Your people to come closer during this time, even though we are physically apart, that the shared experience of having gone through a trying time together will result in a closer sense of community in all of our hearts. 

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
