40 Days of Prayer Day 3 “I Will Walk By Faith; I Will Trust Jesus”

“I will walk by faith even when I cannot see.”  (2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV)

“whom having not seen, you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,” (1 Peter 1:8 NKJV)

Dear Jesus, in this time when we can’t see past our own noses, help us to continue to seek You; to examine ourselves, not by our own eyes, but by Your eyes that see every part of our being. Our eyes and hearts can deceive us, so I ask You Lord to examine me and take away everything that I find my value and comfort in that is not You. I give You my worries, fears, and strongholds. I give You everything. Move in my own heart so that I can give life to others and surrender to You. You have the power, God. I trust that You are good. You are my Dad. I know You will carry me through. Although it may seem like I am in this alone, You are giving me a piggy-back ride the whole way through.

Every time I fail, You pick me up and say, “You are My child.” In this time of desperation, You are my hope. Lead me in the ways I can serve others and expand Your kingdom. I pray for peace and forgiveness in my own life, so that, in turn, others can see peace in me and so turn to You also. Give me the strength to stand firm in Your name with endurance, with hope, with love, and with peace. I will say this again – you alone are worthy of my worship. I give You everything. I am super thankful knowing that whatever happens you will always be with me.

I love you Jesus with all I have and with all I will ever have.

Amen
