5 Days till Pentecost

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3: 5, 6 NIV).

Oh Lord, my God, You led me to these verses through a beautiful song I joyfully sang during my time in two different churches. I thank you that these words drew me closer throughout my life to You, Jesus, pointing me to Your eternal life. I know that you will prepare a place for me in heaven before you take me home. And I trust that in the meantime, you will care for me. Thank You, Jesus for your peace. During this uncertain time, please help brothers and sisters in Christ to trust in You and all the promises in Your word.
