40 Days of Prayer Day 19 "FOR YOU SHALL GO OUT IN JOY"

“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst forth into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree, and instead of the briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord’s renown, for an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed” (Isaiah 55: 12, 13 NIV ).

Ah, Lord God, You are truly the power, the glory, and the majesty forever and ever. You are the source and the reason for our joy; a joy greater than anything the world has to offer. In You we have peace beyond measure. When I look at the mountains and the hills and hear the wind whistling over the land, I see Your beauty in a most wonderful and intimate way. The trees are bursting forth with new leaves reminding me of the renewing of life each spring – and the new life that I have in You.

Thank you, Lord, that the thorns and briers of the virus scourge over the world are under Your divine sovereignty, and You will be forever glorified by the display of Your triumphant grace. In the mighty Name of He Who overcame the grave, even Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior.
