I Rewrote the Last Post
I woke up at 1:30 this morning with a terrible thought — “What did I write in that last post?” I tried to say that we get true faith both through reading the word of God and through the work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. But I got all tangled up in logos and rhema, which I clearly don’t understand.
So I deleted most of that post and wrote something else, which I do know something about, although there are those out there who know a lot more than me. But there are some out there who know a lot more than them. If you wait until you know everything you need to know, you won’t write anything. At some point you have to step out in faith, and faith requires risk or else it isn’t faith. And to take a risk requires courage.
Faith is a strange thing — tangible but mysterious.
