20 Days of Prayer Day 20 "I Have Seen the Lord"
Today is Resurrection Sunday! It is Day 20 of our 20 Days of Prayer. In the immortal words of Mary Magdalene after her visit to the empty tomb, “I have seen the Lord!” (John 20: 18). He is risen, HE IS ALIVE!!! Death is defeated. “Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, Oh, death, is your sting?” (1 Corinthians 15: 54, 55). Satan is defeated! JESUS IS ALIVE!!! We sing hallelujah.
And so it will be with us – we too will be resurrected. “The body is sown in decay, but will be raised in immortality. It is sown in humiliation, but will be raised in glorification. It is sown in weakness, but will be raised in power” (1 Corinthians 15: 43, 44 TPT). Because He lives, we too, will live. Today, live with these assurances: Jesus is the Lord over all, He lives in us; and He is our hope, our peace, our joy, our faith, and our future. Let us worship Him acceptably with reverence and awe, for He is a consuming fire. Dance!!

“I Want to Know You, Jesus”
“I want to know Christ - yes, to know the power of His resurrection and participation in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death” (Philippians 3: 10).
Jesus, I want to know You. I seek to know more of You – to know Your heart, Your voice, Your commands, Your love, and Your desires for me. Jesus, I want to become like You in Your death. To live sacrificially like You no matter the cost. Jesus, I want to participate in Your sufferings. This participation is a fellowship with You. I know that as I have experienced suffering on Your behalf, I have grown closer to You.
Jesus, I believe You when You said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.” Father, I want to know the power of Your Son's resurrection. He is alive because You raised Him from the dead. To know the power of Jesus' resurrection is to know Him.
Holy Spirit, I yield myself to You. Please work all of these requests in my life as I celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from death to life today.
Amen
