20 Days of Prayer Day 9 "The Lord Is Near"

“The Lord is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth” (Psalm 145: 18).

Heavenly Father, in this time of fear, anxiety, and international turmoil, please remind me that You are closer than a whisper.  In good times and bad, in daylight and dark, wherever I am, You are with me.  You, the creator of the universe, with unlimited might and power, make Yourself available to hear me and care for me.  Lord, give me the courage and fortitude to make the right choices in Your name.  In a right relationship with You, You will still my heart and I will have no reason to be anxious or fearful.

Please bless the leaders of this nation and the world, with wisdom to make good decisions in this time of crisis.  And, please bless the work of the doctors, nurses, medical practitioners, and researchers that their work will all be fruitful and effective in preserving lives and eliminating pain.

Thank You for being our God. Amen
