20 Days of Prayer Day 10 "The Fountain of Life"

“For with You is the fountain of life; in Your Light we see light” (Psalm 36: 9).

O Light of the World, we come to You with thanksgiving for Your light, which illuminates the darkness and causes it to flee. We thank You for being the stream of living water—the fountain of life. We thank You for being our light and our salvation. We thank You for giving us life in all its fullness, as you created it to be.  We thank You for being a lamp unto our feet and a light to our path. We thank You for turning our darkness into light. Thank You for blessing those who have learned to acclaim You, who walk in the light of Your presence. Thank You that darkness is as light to You. Thank You that nations will come to Your light. Thank You that You are light and in You is no darkness at all. We declare Your praises – You who called us out of darkness into Your wonderful light. We thank You that You will be our everlasting light. Thank You, Jesus, for Your promise that whoever follows You will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life. Thank You that as we live as children of the light, we will exhibit the fruit of goodness, righteousness, and truth.

In these days of uncertainty, Lord, we praise You for being our Light and our Rock. As we prepare for the celebration of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we praise You for Your unending love and provision for Your people. We love You and trust You for all things, even as we walk in Your light.
