40 Days of Prayer Day 30 "Stand"

10 Days till Pentecost

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6: 10 – 13 KJV).

Father God, my Lord and Savior, thank You for choosing me and giving me the heart to say, “yes!”, to You. Thank you for Your sacrifice and resurrection. Thank you that You stand for and with me. 

You bring me to repentance and forgiveness. You change me. You bless me. You equip me with Your armor of truth, faith, and salvation to fight battles in the war You have already won! What an honor to be a warrior in Your army!

Help me to keep my eyes on You. Remind me to fear nothing... but You. I find comfort in your Holy Spirit. Give me courage to stand firm in my faith in You. Help me stand only for You.
