40 Days of Prayer Day 36 "Praise Him - He Is Our Deliverer"

4 Days till Pentecost

I am burdened and broken by this pain. When your miracle rescue comes to me, it will lift me to the highest place. Then my song will be a burst of praise to you. My glory-shouts will make your fame even more glorious to all who hear my praises! For I know, Yahweh, that my praises mean more to you than all my gifts and sacrifices. All who seek you will see God do this for them, and they'll overflow with gladness. Let this revive your hearts, all you lovers of God! For Yahweh does listen to the poor and needy and will not abandon his prisoners of love.”

“Let all the universe praise him! The high heavens and everyone on earth, praise him! Let the oceans deep, with everything in them, keep it up! God will come to save his Zion-people. God will build up his cities of Judah, for there his people will live in peace. All their children will inherit the land, and the lovers of his name will live there safe and secure” (Psalm 69: 29 – 36 TPT).

Heavenly Father, You are our firm foundation in uncertain times. You are our deliverer from the attacks of the devourer.

Here we are, in unprecedented times, dealing with a great struggle between our health and our economy. Our eyes are fixed on You, knowing that You supply our need during the dark time, and then bring us through to great light at the end of this tunnel.

Oh God, we praise You and rejoice in You in anticipation of Your deliverance! For we know and are confident in You, that You make us to be planted by the waters of life in times of drought. You knew from before the foundations of the world that we would go through this time. You knew that our hearts and prayers would be lifted up to You. Nothing is hidden from You.

Thank you, Lord, that we can rest in the comfort of Your goodness, despite the actions of the evil one to bring harm. We rejoice in anticipation of returning to Your house to worship and praise You together!
