40 Days of Prayer Day 16 "Jesus – Our Comfort and Our Strength"

“Jesus wept” (John 11:35 KJV) 

Our Father, comfort those who have lost family and friends, who are without work, are fearful for their livelihood, and for all who are living with fear and anxiety. Help us remember Jesus' love and compassion for Lazarus and his two sisters, His Divine and human nature, and to remember His words: "I am the resurrection and the life" (John 11: 25 KJV). Thank You for such wonderful assurance!

Strengthen our faith so we wait on the LORD's timing and not on our own schedules. Sustain us not only in times of trouble, but in all the days You have given us. You are in control and we shall glorify You as Jesus did.

May we never forget Your love for us, bearing our sins as Your own, and being the resurrection and the life!
